Visiting
To request a visit, please call us at 802-258-9236 or use the form at the bottom of this page.
Tours
During the academic year, we offer one and a half hour student-led tours Monday through Friday. Tours are at 10:00 am and 2:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday, we offer one tour at 10:00am. Please fill out the visit request form at the bottom of the page and indicate when you would like to come for a tour.
Classes
During the academic year, observing our discussion-based classes is perhaps one of the best ways to get a real sense of the academic environment at Marlboro. We'll recommend appropriate classes to visit when you come to campus and escort you to the class of your choice. We welcome you to review current courses under the Academics page. Class times and dates are subject to change.
Overnights
The Admissions Office can arrange student-hosted overnight campus visits Monday through Thursday during the academic year. Please call to schedule at least one week in advance. From March through May, priority will be given to accepted students.
Scheduled overnight visitors must arrive on campus no later than 4:00pm to meet theirĀ host. If you are sick the day of your scheduled overnight visit, our community requests that you respectfully reschedule your overnight stay to a later date.
If you have already stayed overnight with us, please complete our Overnight Visit Evaluation.
Interviews
Interviews are strongly recommended for all applicants.
If you are a first-year applicant, interviews are not required. However, if you are interested in an interview with a community member, one may be requested two weeks in advance. Please register online with The Common Application prior to scheduling the interview.
If you are an applicant who is interested in an interview, but unable to visit campus, a phone interview may be scheduled by calling 802-258-9236.
Many applicants' interview questions and answers can be found on the Applicant Interview FAQ.
Weekend Visitors
For those who come to campus during the weekend, we offer self-guided tour maps just outside the admissions entrance. Please sign our guestbook, and feel free to take a walking tour of campus. Explore the buildings and learn a bit about their history as well as other distinctive aspects of our community.
Feedback
We're always interested in hearing what you think. After your visit, the Campus Visit Evaluation gives you the option to provide feedback about your experience.
